On April 23, as part of the “Rising Stars” initiative organized by the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory jointly with the Russian Foreign Ministry and the “Russkiy Mir” Foundation, the Russian Embassy in India hosted a chamber concert of opera music dedicated to the 78th anniversary of the bilateral diplomatic relations.

The programme of performances by postgraduate and undergraduate students of the Conservatory Stanislav Chernukhin, Karina Khovalyg and Mikhail Loginov included classical operatic works by Russian and foreign composers, as well as wartime songs.

Delivering a vote of thanks, Russian Ambassador to India Denis Alipov underscored the importance of supporting young talents and organizing such events to promote Russian-Indian cultural exchange.

The event was attended by senior officials of Indian ministries and government agencies, prominent representatives of local business, public and cultural circles, the diplomatic corps and media, Russian compatriots.
